Pulsipher Family Papers, [n.d.].

Family genealogical data and biographical sketches, 1708-1970, by Juanita L.P. Brooks including an account of her marriage to L. Ernest Pulsipher, his illness and death, 1920-1921; also two later accounts of this and a biographical sketch of Mary H. Leavitt by Brooks. The papers also include a handwritten collection of abridged speeches made by Latter-day Saint Church general authorities extracted from sermons and general conferences by John Pulsipher, 1854-1856, and minutes of Pulsipher family meetings, 1848-1878, (plus typescripts).

Juanita Brooks was born in 1898 in the Mormon village of Bunkerville, Nevada. She married Ernest Pulsipher on 10 October 1919 in St. George, Utah. He died of cancer fifteen months later, leaving Juanita a widow with a four-month-old son. Following the death of her husband, Juanita decided to go to college.
